Welcome to our website. We have organized it
according to your needs, whether you are newly diagnosed, a "seasoned
survivor" or have recurrent or advanced prostate cancer. Click on any of the

| OUR MISSION: |
To help survivors of prostate cancer and their
families lead healthy and productive lives, physically, mentally and
spiritually, by offering fellowship, shared counseling and discussion
sessions, both formal and informal, pertaining to updated medical options
and a positive mental outlook. |
| WHAT WE ARE: |
A support group that provides information,
education, real-life experience, treatment information and emotional support
to men and their loved ones who have been impacted by prostate cancer. |
| WHEN DO WE MEET: |
Our support group general meeting is once a
month, always on the last Tuesday of the month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. |
| WHERE DO WE MEET: |
The meeting is in the two story redwood
Education Building behind the Santa Cruz Dominican Hospital. We meet in the
new Cancer Resource Center on the 1st Floor which is also the new location
for the American Cancer Society. |
| AFFILIATIONS: |
The Santa Cruz County Prostate Cancer Support
Group is affiliated and supported by the American Cancer Society and
Prostate Cancer Self-Help Group of the Central Coast. We are also a chapter
of Us Too International. |
| PARTNERS: |
The Santa Cruz Prostate Cancer Support Group
welcomes wives, partners, or significant others of men with prostate cancer,
to attend our general meetings and take part in activities. We believe that
prostate cancer is a disease that impacts the family, and as such, family
members want to be involved in decisions and support activities. |
